Frequently asked questions

Is vinyl always better quality than flex?+

Vinyl typically has finer print resolution because of the smooth film surface, but high-grade star flex and eco-solvent prints close most of the gap at lower cost.

Can vinyl be used outdoors?+

Yes — laminated vinyl is rated for 1–5 years outdoors. Cast vinyl on vehicles handles flexing and weather.

Which is cheaper per sq ft?+

Flex is significantly cheaper. Vinyl costs 3–6x more because of the adhesive film and required lamination.
